Price ran. Your range follows.
Your range follows the price without selling a single token. That move is a snuggle.
- Deposit $1,000 at price 100. Trades inside your range pay you a share. 5 DELL + 500 USDG.
- Price runs to 130. Buyers took your DELL on the way up. You now hold only USDG. All USDG: $1,059.02.
- The 30-minute average and live price both leave your range, then your delay runs.
- Same width, just below price, same USDG. Nothing sold. 81.6 – 127.4. Tokens sold: 0.
- Back to 104: you rebuy DELL bit by bit, paid on every trade through your range. $1,009.62; just holding $1,020.00.
When can it snuggle?
With Auto Snuggle on, the keeper checks every 1-3 minutes, best effort, and pays the gas. Snuggle now skips your delay (0 to 7 days), never the out-of-range rule; you pay its gas.
It opens on the side the price came from
It re-opens with the token you hold: USDG below price, DELL above.
Price rose → hold USDG → opens below
Price fell → hold DELL → opens above

Skip the swap, skip four costs
A traditional rebalance swaps about half your position back to 50/50. A snuggle swaps nothing.

Start: $1,000 at 100 in 80–125 = 5 DELL + 500 USDG. Traditional range: 104–162.5, pool fee (about $5 at 1%) left out. At 130 and above, the snuggled range earns nothing until price dips into it. It isn't stuck: it can snuggle again beside the new price, still all USDG.
